I'm starting to hit a stride as I'm getting back into Sifu. 

I've been experimenting with some of the Kamen Rider mods from NexusMods and it's been an unexpected and nostalgic rush.

With these mods, I've been able to mix the vibrant world of Kamen Rider with Sifu's demanding gameplay. The mods have not only added a fresh coat of paint to the game but have also reignited my passion for the beat-em-up genre. It's like stepping into the shoes of my childhood heroes, giving me the Tokusatsu game we never got as youths.

Why Beat-Em-Up Games Still Slap

There's something about the simplicity and directness of beat-em-up games that's incredibly satisfying. Especially in Sifu, with its simple combat and demand parry system, reminds me why I fell in love with this genre in the first place. It's not just about mashing buttons; it's more akin to a dance, a rhythm, a battle of wits and reflexes.

The Joy of Returning to Sifu

Coming back to Sifu after a long break has been a revelation. One that I can only glean when it playing games with strict timing and executions. Personally, it's kinda like rekindling an old friendship—you pick up right where you left off, and it's as if you never left. The game continues to challenge and surprise me, and now that I've finally begun to really delve into modding, every session feels like a new adventure.
